Our Mission

The purpose of the Rockfish River Student Council Association is to give our students experience in how a representative government works.  Each 3rd through 5th grade class nominates a student to serve as their class representative on the RRES SCA.  The duties of the class representative include attending the monthly SCA meetings and communicating both ways between the SCA and their class.

The mission of the SCA is to involve students in improving our school.  The representatives bring ideas from their classmates to the SCA and also take back to their class the decisions made at the SCA meetings about projects the SCA will undertake to improve the school.
